HTNC operates as an independent, registered charity. It relies on grants, fundraising/donations and parent fees to provide a rich program of play, learning and support to children. The fundraising done by families involved in the HTNC is a huge help to our preschool. The additional funds allow the purchase of supplies, supplement extra activities, and help cover the cost of extra staff.
The willing participation and enthusiastic support of our members are fundamental to the success of a co-operative preschool. At HTNC, families have no fundraising obligations. All of our fundraising events and campaigns are voluntary. We encourage your participation in fundraising events because they help build our reserves and refresh our school equipment and gear. Fundraising events are promoted in the preschool newsletter, online and occur throughout the school year.
Corporate Fundraising allows our community partners to help invest in our children and their education. Please consider sharing contacts or workplace programs with our Program Director and/or members of our Board so we can help determine a mutually beneficial match. HTNC is a registered charity.
Please insure that all fundraising money and forms have your child's first and last name and which class they are in clearly marked.
